Snickers Treats

  • Halve 8-10 medjool dates and place at the bottom of a lined tin. Squash dates across the base
  • Cover with pecans filling all the spaces
  • Mix 1/4 -1/2 cup of tahini along with 2-3 tablespoons of nut butter of choice together. To thicken sauce add two table spoons of water and mix
  • Pour tahini/nut mixture over the pecans
  • Melt chocolate of choice (I used dark along with some milk dark chocolate with caramel!) over boiling water in a glass container
  • Pour chocolate over base filling all of the gaps
  • Sprinkle with sea salt and put in the freezer until set
  • Chop into bite sized portions and store in the freezer
